REGIONE LAZIO – Residential Building Plans and Programs Area

Born in Caulonia (RC). She graduated in architecture at the University of Rome “La Sapienza” in 1982. Since 1992 she works for ‘Regione Lazio’, and in 2007 became manager. Currently she directs ‘Area “Plans programs and interventions of Social Housing” – Infrastructure, Environment and Housing Policies, carrying out address , planning and coordination of activities relating to social housing at regional level, including criteria and standards of European Community, national and regional authorities on the improvement of energy efficiency and environmental.

From 2013 to 2014 she was at the Lazio Region Area Manager “Sustainable Building”. From 2011 to 2013 was Area Manager “Energy-Department Civil Protection”. From 2010 to 2011 she was Area Manager at “Technical Service – Human Resources Director – State Property “. From 2007 to 2008 she was the Director of the “State Property Office”. In coordination with other relevant regional structures, she cares the scheduling urban sustainable planning, even in the context of European initiatives aimed at the realization of Smart City and processes integrated building management, energy networks, water, cycle waste, telecommunications, transport and other urban networks. During the course of her business was responsible for the definition of strategic guidelines and coordination of the implementation of interventions for sustainable building in New York and for the implementation of the principles and actions for green building, already identified in the protocol ITACA, in order to define the priority factors needed to guide the building activity to improve, as a whole, the quality of living, in the context of sustainable urban development, and to promote the evaluation of energy and environmental sustainability of buildings. She has coordinated and organized in Italy and abroad, scientific activities and the management of numerous community projects.
